Pin Definition & Usage

Rhino Pi-X1 features two on-board 40-PIN GPIO interfaces:

  • 40-Pin 3.3V GPIO (Raspberry Pi compatible)
  • 40-Pin 1.8V GPIO

Warning

When using the 40-Pin GPIO interfaces, pay close attention to the wiring between pins and peripherals. Ensure correct pin connections—improper operation may cause hardware damage to the device.

40-Pin 3.3V GPIO (Raspberry Pi Compatible)

Rhino Pi-X1 is equipped with an on-board 40-PIN 2.5mm pitch box header for 3.3V GPIO expansion, providing highly flexible interface support for hardware expansion. Users can connect various sensors, communication modules, displays, and other embedded peripherals via this interface to achieve rapid prototyping and functional verification in fields such as Internet of Things (IoT), robot control, and industrial automation.

The multiplexing functions of the 40-Pin 3.3V GPIO are shown in the table below:

40-Pin 1.8V GPIO

Rhino Pi-X1 is equipped with an on-board 40-PIN 2.5mm pitch box header for 1.8V GPIO expansion, enabling better compatibility with peripherals requiring different IO voltage levels. The multiplexing functions of the 40-Pin 1.8V GPIO are shown in the table below:
