Peripheral FAQs
Q1: The normal USB audio driver is snd_usb_audio – why can’t Rhino Pi X1 detect audio devices?
A: This may be a user group permission issue. The default user does not have permission to access USB devices, causing the system to fail to recognize audio devices. Add sudo before the command to elevate privileges and then check the device list:
sudo aplay -lQ2: Can Rhino Pi X1 drive motors? The motor communication interface is CAN bus.
A: Yes. Currently, the baseboard does not have a dedicated CAN interface, but it supports USB-to-CAN communication.
Q3: Does Rhino Pi X1 support GNSS, GPS, or RTK?
A: It does not support GNSS or GPS natively; RTK requires an external module.
Q4: General GPIO access for Rhino Pi X1
Q5: What audio interfaces does Rhino Pi X1 support?
A:
Rhino Pi X1 currently supports Line-IN, Line-OUT, and an external 3.5mm 3-segment combined headphone jack (compatible with both American and Chinese standards).
The 3.5mm 4-segment combined headphone jack on Rhino Pi X1 requires separate external devices for American and Chinese standards – different standards use different combined external devices.
